Limited Availability: The “Spring Forward” program is available for the Part-time MBA program for the Spring 2025 intake. Any waivers granted will only be applicable for the Spring 2025 Part-time MBA program ONLY – they cannot be used for any future term beyond Spring 2025.
Deadlines: The deadline for waiver requests is 10/15. Typically, the MBA Admissions office will send waiver decisions in no more than five business days.
Eligibility: You must be an NYU administrator or staff (not faculty), currently be employed by NYU, and be eligible for the graduate tuition remission plan at the time of submission of your waiver request (see your HR department for any questions regarding your eligibility).Waiver Request Criteria: To request a standardized test waiver, please complete the request for test waiver form and include your resume and copies of all your undergraduate transcripts and graduate (if applicable). Approval of a test waiver will be contingent on showing evidence of ability to participate in a rigorous academic program.
Evidence of your readiness to participate in the Part-time MBA program must consist of three (3) courses with a quantitative focus.
Examples of courses with a quantitative focus could consist of the following:
Waiver Decisions: Waiver decisions are at the sole discretion of the Admissions Committee. Waiver decisions are final and not subject to appeal. Being granted a waiver does not guarantee being admitted. The two decisions are made separately and independently. Those not granted a waiver may always take one of the approved standardized tests (GMAT, GRE, or EA) to apply.
